I’m a digital designer and artist living in Charlestown, MA.

I love approaching the design process like solving a puzzle (any puzzle, jigsaw, crossword, soduko…sign me up!) - Determining the problem, working through ideas, and delivering a successful final solution. I start my concepting “old school” with pen and paper, which helps me get thoughts down quickly. One idea that has stuck with me over the years is “Intuitive vs. decorative design” (thanks, Paul Lee!). I value intentional design decisions that support and enhance the objective of the project.

When not working on my computer, I love to oil paint in my tiny art studio in the corner of my apartment. Water is a favorite painting subject. Growing up by the ocean, I’ve always been drawn to the qualities of water, the play of light and contrasting values. I’m a member of the Artists Group of Charlestown, where I also volunteer my design expertise.

I grew up on the south shore of MA which has fostered my love for all things ocean.
